What we collect
The twenty-three answers you provide in the intake form, your name as you wish it to appear in the manuscript, and the email address you give us for delivery. Nothing else.
Where it lives
Your answers are stored encrypted at rest in our database. The encryption key is held separately from the data. The database itself is not accessible from the public internet.
Who reads it
Everything you write is encrypted at rest. The engine reads your answers to generate your novella, and to refine it if you ask for changes. Operators can access content for support and quality purposes — the same access that makes re-renders and revisions possible. Your answers are not sold, and they are not browsed by staff for any other purpose. Operational data — submission status, generation success or failure, delivery state — is visible to operators in the normal course of running the service.
If a coach invited you
One exception, and you choose it. If you received your invitation from a SUCCESS® Certified Coach, your answers and finished book are shared with that coach — and only that coach — so they can work through it with you. We tell you this before you answer a single question, and the box is yours to uncheck. You can also change your mind at any time from your library; access stops immediately. If you came to us directly rather than through a coach, none of this applies and nobody outside the engine reads your book.
How long we keep it
Encrypted answers and the generated manuscript are retained for 30 days after delivery, in case of email-delivery failure or a re-send request. After that window, a daily job purges them.
What appears in your manuscript
Your answers will appear inside a piece of fiction. Names, details, specifics — the engine will use what you wrote. If anything is sensitive enough that you’d rather it not appear in a manuscript on a hard drive, redact it before submitting.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your data at any time before the retention window closes. Email contact@success.com with the email you used to submit.
